Is this too good to be true?

Wasn't exactly sure where to post this. Saw this ad on autotrader.ca for a 2009 Roush RTC Mustang - the price doesn't make sense to me, the RTC package alone was around $14000. Do you think this is for real? Not looking to buy, was just looking for the fun of it. I have seen quite a few scams on auto sales websites before.

Considering a regular GT would sell for more something seems odd.

It seems awfully cheap to me too. That is usually a sign of a scam.

Call him and see what he says...and report back :)

I sent an email with a few questions but I am not serious about buying.

The last time I inquired about a car that was a "good deal" the seller said he lived in New York and the car was in a trailer in Mississauga. He wanted a money transfer without me being able to see the car! I reported that one!

no phone number, no front plate, scam.

I dug real deep into an 07 Roush 427R last summer that was listed for $14,000 that turned out to be a scam. Ask for a picture of something very specific from the seller or ask them for their phone number. The guy I was dealing with said the car was in Florida but registered in Alberta and wouldn't give me a picture of the odometer as I asked and wouldn't give me his phone number. Its in the rules on the Autotrader that sellers cannot ask for wire transfers as payment and if they do to report it.

It seems like the trader is just full of these scams now. The funny thing is they always put a ridiculous way too low price on the ads. If they were 3-4 grand low someone might actually believe them but not 10-$30,000. LOL.
