Im looking at buying a1992 lx possibly(600km away) and want to make sure it is what the guy claims, its supposed to be a 92 feature car, "summer edition" lx and want to make sure its not just an 4cyl swap with white wheels and top, does anyone know whre i would go to lookup specifica like that? Thanks
Also anyone know what something like this should sell for? Vibrant red, white wheels, white top, white leather, 150k kms auto 99% stock, supposed to be 9/10 all around thanks |

these guys can tell you everything you need to know but there is a cost. Just looking at the pics it looks legit to me. Painted mirrors and various colour coded trims are unique to that package as far as I know. |

Got ahold of ford.ca they confirmed it is a special edition
now whats a fair price? The guy is asking 9500 obo ? Seems a little on the high side but i have bo idea what unmolested foxbodys are worth these days? |

double checked on carfax too and they show more odometer recordings in the 200000+ km range unfortunately. Had to back out on the deal cant pay top dollar for a car with a sketchy history.
sucks |
Probably the smart call, who knows what else the seller could be hiding. Buyer beware.

You can at least check the original engine by the VIN code, 8th digit should be an "E" for a 5.0L Fox if I remember correctly.
