What To Buy?!

Hey;

I am having trouble deciding what to buy for a system
At first I was thinking the Magnaflow Magnapack system
But then I heard the SLP Systems, and I sort of have been leaning more towards the SLP
Any opinions on the SLP LM1 or SLP LM2 Systems?

I know if I had more money to throw around I would go BORLA but its out of my league for now

Let me know what you think
THANKS!

I have seen some MagnaFlow kits in the past, I was always under the impression they were a bit junky.

What system would you go with?
I want a somewhat loud (about an 8 on a scale of 10), deep, throaty tone...

Borla seems to be a decent sounding exhaust.

But for me, personally, I would go with a flow master setup :tup
When I think mustang exhaust, I think flowmaster. :chacha:

I agree with Rick, you cant go wrong with Flowmaster.

Borla is amazing, Flowmaster is a tried and true classic, and Magnaflow (not the bottle mufflers) is a good in between (sound wise). I'm not a huge fan of Mac or the SLP systems. The SLP reminds me of an overly loud classic with glass pack mufflers, just too damn noisy.

I agree that Borla is great, but I am not going to spend that much on an exhaust system...I agree that SLP is loud and noisy, but I like the SLP Loudmouth 2 system...Sounds SIMILAR to the Magnapacks, but slightly louder and cheaper in price...Many good reviews about LM2 system as well...?

The SLP LM2 sounds deadly with either the stock H or an aftermarket catted H. Really aggressive but not obnoxious muscle car sound.

Doesn't sound as good to me uncatted or with an X.

Also, in my opinion, the SLP dual walled tips are the best looking ones on the market.

I would be looking at either a Borla or SLP setup.

Yeh...I checked out so many different setups
My favorite was Borla, but too much money
So today I went and ordered the SLP Loudmouth 2 system
About 250 bucks cheaper than Borla and I l love the sound of the SLP LM2
Its different, and everyone around here has the Flowmaster mufflers or catbacks and I wanted different...
No one around my area has the SLP system
Its so hard to hear exactly what anything sounds like on the web as peoples cameras differ so much

I think you made a good choice there.
As long as your mid pipe is catted it should sound really good.

Most people who do not like the SLP have either heard it with an uncatted mid pipe or have heard the SLP LM1 which in my opinion is just crude and rude.

When you take off your factory pipes you can sell them for $100 or so. There is always someone with a V6 looking for those factory GT catbacks so they can convert theirs to a dual setup.
