What paint to use for the firewall and interior fenders?

I am starting to plan ahead for my 66 mustang project. Getting info on products and parts.

What kind of paint do I use for the interior fenders and firewall of my 66 Mustang?

I always use to use just a satin black enamel. There was nothing special about it.

Just wondering, is there any reason you wouldn't use the same paint as the exterior? Is this for rustproofing or maybe another reason?

Heat resistant paint might be good. I imagine Ford Parts would have the appropriate paint and colour (Black).
