^he's right, it's not anywhere near as bad in the rain as people make you think. Most of the nay sayers haven't even driven their car on a slick at the track nevermind the street.

How long does a set typically last if driven mainly on the street?

i can get about 2 summers out of a new set...but note when u r at the track u dont need a 2 min burnout to get these to work...cycle them untill u see smoke and that will be good enough

Street use I have a set of yokohama blems on the rear....no name canadian tire specials on the front all mounted on nice 10 holes.

Last season at the track I had a set of old et streets mounted on turbines in the back, the front had moroso drag skinnies mounted on aluminum tbird spares.

This season (at least the first track trip or two) I will be using my buddies ET Drags mounted on convo pros with the above skinnies on the front.

After that i'm gonna have to get my own rims and slicks...looking at Centreline autodrags for the back, and the slicks will be whatever I can find for cheap.

Because I am known to terrorize the Windsor street and drag scene :laughhard I use the Pirelli P Zero Nero that came from the factory. :banghead:
