Unfortunately I'm running around on Yokohama A509s out back, they're horrible for traction! I'm not too particular on tires as one of my best friends has a used tire business and I get free tires for my own car anytime I want. Anything from 15's to 18s! I've run a lot of different tires, my fav's were the 265-35-18 Continentals I had on my mineral grey vert. They hooked well on a stock car and drove fantastic, excellent in the rain and good wear.

I got a set of Kumho Ecsta Supra 711s on my summer wheels, Blizzaks on my stock wheels for the winter and I bought a pair of Nitto 555Rs on some Konig rims for $140 US. They had 5 passes on them. For that price, I couldn't pass it up :tup

While at the Ford dealer yesterday I spotted a set of rims and tires, boy they were nice. 275-40-18 B-F Goodrich but 4025 with tax. :banghead:

Dealers want retarded ammounts for wheels.. especially OEM ones or the Ford Racing ones. They wanted $1000 CDN a piece for my Ford Racing Cobra Style ones in Silver. I bought them off eBay for $600 US for the whole set.

Good deal man, they look good. Been down the track with them yet?

No not yet, at this point they're not needed at all. I have no problems hooking up with my extremely messed up transmission and engine running on maybe 4 cylinders. They're for when the SuperCoupe engine goes in, hoping to be in the 13s on the V6 until I can afford a new car.

Yep and i love them, they hook hard street, track anywhere, they hook so good that at times when you want to goof around ( drifting, burn outs etc, i dont do them anyway lol ) they get sticky and hot and HOOK. But i have the stock tires for stuff like that.

What's the lifespan of those tires?
