2015 Mustang Convertible

Hi, all.

So happy I came across this site. My wife and I got back from Florida a few weeks ago, and a woman t-boned my 2015 Equinox. It was our first new car, and we were a week away from paying off the $93 left on the +31k TD Auto Finance loan... My record has been clean for over 10 years, without even a parking ticket. I drove it like my grandma drove her caddy and it was in great condition. Needless to say, after headache and hassle, we didn't get what we wanted for the totaled equinox - because to us it was priceless. I was devastated - not that the Equinox was a gorgeous car by any means - but we had worked hard over 3.5 years to have it all paid off, only to be boned by woman who wasn't paying attention in her big Merc SUV. My wonderful wife, whom I still can't understand to this day why chose to be with me, suggested we try to turn this into something positive; let's look at convertibles.

I first looked at 2011-era Chrysler 200 convertibles so that we could pocket the rest of the cash, but the interiors in those are dated and their trunk lids weigh about 500 lbs. We had rented a 2015 Camaro and a 2016 Ecoboost Mustang (both convertibles) for a week or so, each, during our trips to Florida in recent years, and found the visibility in the Mustang to be superior: If it wasn't going to be a 2012 200, the only other option was a Mustang. I drove up to Kincardine, ON from Windsor on Friday afternoon, got financed on Friday before 5 for the small remainder of that couldn't be paid with our insurance payout, and just got a call from Dave at Montgomery Ford to say that they just left the dealership and should be here in 3-4 hours. When I give them the money order, I'll be the proud owner of this 2015 beauty with only 31k Kms and being only warm weather-driven.

So I found this site and I hope that I get a lot of advice, hope I'm able to give some after a few years - and apologize in advance if I post my pieces in the wrong thread, because that's bound to happen!

My first questions: Who wants these 19" wheels, and where's the best place to get 17" or 18" Mustang wheels? I think this is a "Black Accent Package", or is as close as they could get it to one on a convertible because it also has an additional little tiny spoiler/wing on the back.

and I apologize in advance if I post in the incorrect thread with my annoying questions!

Welcome and congrats. If you are looking to get into 17 or 18" wheels you could likely find someone that would swap you for the 19's.

Just curious, why do you want to get rid of the 19's?

Hey nice ride... one recommendation I would give you, is to get a "love the Ride" or some other wind deflector, I don't know why ford doesn't offer them with their cars, but I've had factory wind deflectors on my Audi and it really helps make the car more enjoyable on those long weekend rides..

Congrats and welcome, I think the 19's suit the car well.
