Any Road Racers?
 

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm on the GTAMC but new to this site. I have an 03GT with a few bolt ons.

I have found that usually Mustang owners prefer the 1320, but there appears to be a small contingent of guys who prefer the curves.

Any road racers/lappers in Ontario?

Welcome aboard and if I did not mind getting my car dirty I would be all over road coarses. I tried the 1320 twice and it was like eh I can take it or leave it

Hey Sal, welcome over here. I'll be back out in a Fox Mustang at some point this year. Getting a nice deal on an 89 that will get some old school suspension and wheels thrown on to use at track days and possibly in VARAC vintage racing.

Looking forward to seeing what goes on around here, and hopefully help guys considering tracking their Mustangs for the first time. (I was a newbie not too long ago, so I still remember the "ropes", :-D)

welcome! i used to do a little with the '00 stang. my mitsu seems to take the track abuse better tho..

If anyone is interested, our Time Attack series has started up with its first events on the 4th and 5th. You can click for pictures and results from the weekend. A 2003 GT is currently leading the series after winning both days!


Our next events are coming up soon. The weekend of June 18th and 19th takes the series to Shannonville Motorsports Park. The pre-pay discounted rate is available until Wednesday June 15th.

Following that, Saturday July 9th is the Mosport International Raceway school, a good chance to learn the big track in a fun and safe way. Sunday July 10th is our first of several competition days at MIR.
