Central Alberta Mustang & Ford Fan

Hey everyone, new member to the site.
Currently in Rimbey where I manage a family owned and operated auto parts store and repair shop. I can see the dragstrip and motorsports park from the shops front door.
We do a lot at the track, my brothers and I race on the oval, mud bogs and the 1/8th.

Hope to meet some of you there this year.

I have the following units still.
2011 Mustang Gt 5.0L, MT82, Performance Pack, Kona Blue. 11's in 1/4.
1990 5.0L LX Hatch - First Stang
1972 Cougar 351c
1975 F250 390 auto. Daily Driver.
1978 Zephyr 2dr.-First Car, still have it.

Previous Fords and Mercury's I have owned would be a long list... Its an addiction...

Welcome!

I'm in Calgary now but I'm originally from just down Hwy 53 from you, Ponoka.

07procharger 01-30-2015 01:27 PM

welcome.

let me know when the 1/4 is all done out there and its all PAVED. I went once last year and wasn't to pleased.

Although its closer, I still prefer Castrol way better.

Also, 11's with your 2011 is really impressive. what are your mods and do you have the time slip?

thanks

I saw that one on kijiji, looked like a good deal for what's done to it

Apocalypse Pony 03-02-2015 03:13 AM

Sweet ride, congrats. I believe thats the second silver LS we have on here, and the third BOSS. Very nice, always liked that model.

Thanks. The car is way too flashy for me but when you get the opportunity to buy one of the rarest mustangs of the last 20 years you kind of just do it anyways.

I have an automotive bucket list and have been fortunate enough to own some pretty fun and cool cars. Kept this one in Canada as it was going to be sold back home to the USA. Was ordered brand new from Kentucky by a local dealer for its sales manager and I am its second owner.

I have never been pulled over in a mustang and have driven one since 2004... this one is so in your face that I am sure it will break my record.

Great purchase. My friend took a look at this car, but with shipping to Ontario he decided to pass on it. I know it was a tough decision for him. You’ve got a great ride there. You’ll love it.

Tlavalle 12-30-2017 01:48 PM

And welcome to the Boss 302 ownership group.

Ya, I have spoke with the original owner and am getting all the stuff he has still for it. The factory extras as well as extra front splitters, exhaust, extra wheels and tires, the corbeau harnesses etc. He has all the flyers and magazines about it saved in plastic still. Even some signed stuff from Parnelli Jones.

Will be a nice touch to have.

I am going to remove the side window louvers as well. I like the cleaner look and it will tame down the red everywhere.

Just received the new JLT 3.0 oil separator so I will install that this weekend.

Tlavalle 12-30-2017 02:12 PM

Early build number also. Are you near Airdre, as I believe the first 2013 Boss 302 resides there. It is a Grabber Blue, with number 0001 on the Intake plenum.

I am in Lacombe

I saw tha one on kijiji one day and was really surprised by the asking price, definitely the most reasonably priced LS I’ve seen yet.
