Hi Fellow Mustang lovers.
Have a new girl in the stable. She is a 2005 GT with a lot of snake bones ...
Needs a little work. Am in love..
Sorry, garage is a mess, been busy with home project.
Have a set of 2007 GT500 front struts, are these any better than oem?
Also, the plastic trunk lining is loose,,,do the black plastic push plugs suffice for reattachment?

Cheers

Welcome to cmoc!

Welcome. Is that a picture of a Mustang going sideways (no pun intended)? I think the GT500 struts would be better than the OEM.

Apocalypse Pony 08-10-2017 05:11 PM

Welcome and congrats, nice ride.

FrankieMachina 08-11-2017 05:21 AM

Ha ha, was pretty late and was fumbling with this site.....yeah, am gonna keep them stored away, the car is set up really nice. Previous owner was a bonafide racer and mechanic. It has a trailer hitch for hauling small custom trailer (with racing tires i bet;)

Just love your blue GT. I really think Ford did a great job with 5th gen when they were clay modelling.

thanks AP!! Car needs some attention. Plus airbag inflator recall. Ford here in Kingston has been uber professional.

Welcome. Have you been dealing with Petrie or Braden?
There is a pretty decent group of Mustangs that get together for coffee every Saturday morning at Tim's . I think it is the one near Princess and Centennial Dr.

I got all excited there for a moment, saw the title of the thread and thought it was another CMOC Dance Off competition...

hi Roddy am at the Tims at Princess and Centennial 8:30. No other cmoc guys here

roddy 08-14-2017 06:23 AM

Sorry. I was in Ottawa on Saturday. The group usually starts to file in around 9-10. did anyone show up while you were still there?

FrankieMachina 08-15-2017 05:22 AM

Well, I ran into a fellow named Richard who used to hang with CMOC crew. He had good things to say about the Kingston gang.
Do you guys also do the Sun evening thing at Tintworld parking lot behind St Louis Bar and Grill??
Enjoy the Sunday evening cruises.

cheers

roddy 08-15-2017 06:10 PM

I can't speak on the Sunday thing, as I am from the Belleville area, and only get out to the Saturday morning get-together occasionally. My car is allergic to rain...

I believe they have a facebook page where they plan, converse, and buy/sell. I'll see if I can find it.

roddy 08-15-2017 06:14 PM

Kingston Mustang Meet 2017 is the facebook page.

FrankieMachina 08-16-2017 05:14 PM

Ahhhh cool. Btw got in trouble in Belleville. They took my license away for 90. Been a good boy since.
