hey... welcome to the forum... seems like you've got a nice stable of stangs... did you import the shelby and the roush yourself or bought it local?

Import

You had asked if I had imported my Shelby and Roush or purchased locally. Well, I've had an office of my design studio in my home town of Portland for many years and in Vancouver for the past 7 years.

I married a gorgeous Canuck eighteen months ago and we bought a house together in Maple Ridge about the same time. So my Shelby and Roush are still plated in Oregon....as I await Canada Immigration to approve my application for permanent residency. I'm hoping that by the end of Summer, this will be completed...then the fun begins [importing!]. I purchased the '68 Fastback in Victoria - so it is already in Canada and collector-plated.

I've got the daytime running lights operational on the Shelby and will soon get this done on the Roush. I'm also working on scheduling an appointment with our local dealership to take care of the recent Ford Recall (passenger air bag deployment adjustment) because I know I will need all of this stuff documented at the time of importation.

If any of you have experience with bringing a newer model car into Canada, I'd love any words of wisdom!

Thanks,
Todd
