Long time no see!

Hi Guys, long time no see. Site looks great! Nice to be back.

I haven't visited in a while, but I think about the site all the time. Still have CMOC stickers on the ride.

'Retired Admin' Thanks for the title guys!

Apocalypse Pony, 1low03gt, how the heck have you guys been?

Ha ha, thanks for the warm welcome guys. ChadStang, what's up pal?! Well, dead or not, you guys have been doing a great job over here. The site wouldn't be the same without you! You know that. I'm certain things will pick up over the winter with the mustangs headed back into storage.

Hi BMU, I did read your thread. I do know my way around the 3.8. At this point, I'm fairly certain I have more documentation on that engine than Ford does. A few years back I was even able to get a hold of the original blueprints. I have every spec ever created on it - literally bookshelves full of data. It's a labour of love cause the 6's are a bit of a slug out of the box. Tremendous potential though. Our V6 build is a Stage 3 singleport running a Procharger paired with a custom Morana Racing box intake and all the fixings. I love it, but I'm currently toying with a second motor - yes, build number 2 is in the works. This one will be a split port. I picked up a donor 2004 3.8 and that's the engine I'll be experimenting with. This is just for fun. I don't know if the motor will ever go into the Mustang - I just want to make the most power I can with it. I'm debating between 2 setups - so I picked up both. Setup 1: Windstar Intake. Setup 2: Supercoupe Supercharger. Both setups will run Stage 3 Heads and Forged Internals. Nitrous on both applications. I'm toying with a twin turbo setup for the Windstar Intake. Some pics for your viewing pleasure.

Tom at SuperSix is really quite knowledgeable as is Tom Morana at Morana Racing. Both have worked magic on the 3.8. V6Sprout, I forget what forum he visits, is also a great resource on V6 matters.

If I can help with your project, let me know.

Nice to be back guys.

Wow you’ve got much better self control than me. There is no way I could have an engine like that sitting around and not stuff it in something. Looks like a cool project!
