Hi. Back with another Mustang
Hello from Barrie. On. Last Mustang was a 2001 GT. Went on the dark side with a couple of Jags but I've just picked up a nice 2004 Anniversary GT stick. Anything happening around this area this time of year?:wiggle:

BTW, I did put some pics in two galleries. The pics of the 2004 were not taken by me. I'm going to pick her up tomorrow, weather permitting. I'll get some new ones up. |

Thanks everyone for the welcomes. Wow, Taber. I went to school there, grades one to 3, many many years ago. Used to live out past the Ohashie Brothers potato farm. I'll bet the place has grown since 1955.:tup

Welcome and congrats on the new to you purchase.
I am lazy so pics in your intro is always nice. I'm also head down, thinking about mods, crusing the internet looking at what others have done, waiting for top down weather. There are a group of Mustang enthusiasts that meet once a month in Newmarket that I'm aware of. That is the closest group to you that I know of. I meet with a group in Ajax once a month, and we have groups in Brampton & Mississauga as well. All Mustang enthusiasts. They are always welcoming of others joining in. They organise go-cart outings in the Winter and other assorted activities. I may catch flack again but here is a link to one of the Toronto based online clubs: Other Events They also organise rides and are part of track day events. |
Thanks Shakin. Good info

Not to hijack the thread, but I've only had my Mustang for over a year and joined the two Toronto based Mustang forums sometime after that purchase.
So to the best of my knowledge TMC started after GTAMC so TMC would be the newer of the two. Most days it appears that posters post in both communities so there are tons of redundancies. There is plenty of great information in both forums (here as well). So it's not the same, but it is darn close, and so I'd think that some of the folks may have got tired of the GTAMC and started their own forum. I could probably ask and get the whole story, but I'm not sure I really want to know it. It sounds like you have had some experience with the GTAMC, and that it may not have all been positive. All these forums have their ups and downs, but it's really all about our experiences and sharing knowledge and whatever else the posters wish to communicate about. A good sense of camaraderie and online friendships also occur and hopefully we make the world a better place and get to know others that have different and shared opinions. I hope I wasn't too preachy and that this addresses your query. |
Looks very clean. Congrats!! And welcome back.

Hey 1low03GT, great work on your ride. How low we be talkin here? I like it.
|
Thank you Hawk. It's the full 2" drop with the Eibach Sportline springs. It's pretty slammed. Have to pay extra care to what is poking out of the roads that's for sure.

I'm sensitive that way! lol
You can always just be a lurker, no harm in that (on the internet anyway). I like that the folks on here are positive and honest in sharing their opinions and ideas. |
