From Newmarket, ON

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a 2018 Ford Mustang GT w/ performance package + active exhaust + Magneride and I have a lot of questions still so I wanted to join this community.

I hope I won't get hated for this but I essentially "learned" how to drive manual in 2 days so I would be able to drive this car (I felt bad for my buddy's car) 😄 I'm able to drive on roads without a problem though!

Jonathan

Congrats and welcome Jonathan, how can you hate on anyone that learns to drive a manual? You can't,, because thats the best way to enjoy the new ride !!! Practice makes perfect.

Performance Pack is full of goodies, now all we need is a picture.

Awesome car. Love it. I have a 2019 Performance Pack Level 2 on order. Won’t be here until Sept or Oct if I’m lucky.

With the number of goodies downloaded from the GT350 into the Performance Pack, and 460 some odd hp, I'd say its the best bang for the buck.

Car looks sweet in Magnetic, very nice.

The level 2 will be a very capable track weapon and will give the Camaro 1LE serious competition, if not be faster. It will give your GT350 run for its money, as well. It is about $20k less than the GT350 and I think not many people will want to pay the $3000 plus price over a level 1 Performance Pack car.

$20k less granted, but its no Shelby, (not that the name means anything, Shelby's dead, but limited production any way you cut it) and no flat plane crank making that incredible noise up 8250 rpm.

But yes, bang for the buck its the way to go if thats what you want.

I was actually surprised at the number of things that trickled down....Brembos, (unless the PP already had them, can't be sure), Active exhaust and the quad dumps out the back and the Magneride suspension just to name a few off the top.

GT350 prices have settled down, you could easily get into a 2016 with low km's for not much more than what you're paying for the '19 Performance Pack I'll bet, somewhere around mid to high 50's, maybe $60k max.

The PP2 cars will have lighter wheels, a 305 square set up, bigger front splitter, rear diffuser, bigger rear spoiler, magna ride and sit an inch or so lower. Yes it will be right about $60k. Be interesting to see how many PP2 cars get order in 2019.
