Jesse - 01 V6 -

Hey im Jesse, I run an 01 Black V6 that i bought free and clear at age 16. I am now 19 and since then I have added custom flowmaster dual exhaust, 18X8 American Racing Casino Rims, 2000 Cobra R front bumper and Rear spoilter from Cervini's, dark tint. I am currently in search of converting to a Posi rear end, looking for advice on where to get parts and what I need to do this. Also in need of some wheel spacers and a BBK or good Cold air kit for my car, looking for Canadian supplies to avoid custom taxes, help me out? Any other V6 boys and girls in my generation message me so we can talk!
-J

j2stang 05-29-2007 01:37 PM

Will do, any idea where I can get V6 performance around here?

94STANGR 05-29-2007 02:35 PM

What are you looking for in terms of "v6 performance" ?

If you want to learn more about your v6. Check out www.v6power.net. There is a few of us with v6's here. I am buying most of my parts off the internet, or from Pat @ Steeda.

dohp 05-29-2007 06:37 PM

(waits for some one to respond about V6 and performance being an oxymoron :) ) i've got a 1996 V6 stick, staying stock other then the subframe connectors and the G-Force Sports on 99gt rims. (unless someone has a gently used CAI or WAI for my car)

j2stang 05-29-2007 09:48 PM

Thanks for all the welcomes guys

Any V6's with some tips or people from the quinte west belleville area feel free to Pm me!

Check out 2Kool performance, they're in eastern ontario. Call or email Brent, He'll hook you up. Or keep an eye out on ebay, I got my BBK there for $70, slightly used.

I'm just starting my mods this summer, mostly cosmetic first, but my buddy who is on the forum put a supercharger on his 01 last summer and that thing rips. Look for him on here, I think he's under Tonydee.

As for power adders, go with CAI, under drive pullies, exhaust (u already have) and gears. If you want more save your pennies for a charger or nitrous.

Cheers!

Thanks Spenc! Best prices I could find anywhere in Canada! Couldn't get them ordered from the states any cheaper either.

Cheers, and thanks again!

Whiplash1987 07-15-2007 01:39 PM

welcome to the site. Go with BBK you can order the cold air intake through Crappy tire. Just ask for their After market parts catologue from keystone and its in the exhaust section.
