Hello all, I had brought my "new" used car - a 1986 Mustang LX hatchback with V6/ auto. I'm going to pick up in a month when my old beater is sold away first. I'm happy to be back in a Mustang again - I kind of miss my old '80 Stang when I had one before.

Will post a picture later. Now I have a question ( I tried look in the search engine but no luck!). Can anyone tell me what manual transmission of which year range will bolt to a 3.8L V6? I'm looking in to do a swap from auto to manual while keeping the original V6 in the car. The engine is good with LOW kms - less than 57,000 kms actually. I've confirmed on that.

Point me to a link if that topic about tranny swap-out had been discussed before please? Thanks!
