Just purchased a 1986 gt convertible from the USA. Needs some tlc . Hopefully someone on this site has some parts or knows of someone. I need a dark gray( charcoal) dash. Also does anyone know what type of paint I have to use for the mouldings. The mouldings are worn in areas that there is yellow showing. any help would be great.

These guys should have everything you need. I would just replace the mouldings if your budget allows it.

 

I ordered parts from cj pony parts. It is free shipping and you also get reward points to redeem a dollar amount off your next purchaser. I need a new top, seats need to be redone, dash, rear power motor for window , stainless steel tips for the exhaust etc. what I was told the condition of the car was and what I got it totally different.I just ordered all new carpets , console pad, seat belt holders about $400.00 worth of stuff. The yellow on the mouldings is alot on the front and the back and around the front lights.

Thanks guys had mustangs most of my life. love them. My 8 year old son wants for his first car a red shelby convertible with white stripes, lol. Start them young. I had a car like this back in 1998 when I lived in BC. I was going to sell it but I think I will try to breath new life back in it. Wife is not impressed but thats okay.
