New from Hamilton

Hey everyone, joined because I wanted to know if everyone has the same problem of jerks ripping their front-grill emblem off!!! If so, what have you done to prevent it!

Hey, welcome to CMOC.ca. Nobody has ever ripped off my front grille emblem, although I'm not surprised it happens.

Welcome to the site dude. Sorry to hear you're another victim of another a-hole looking to screw with something that doesn't belong to them.

Simply amazing that someone would do that.

Welcome to the forum.

There isnt much you can do to prevent theft or vandalism with the exception of dont own anything.

If you want to feel a bit better or make an effort in protecting your car I would suggest:
- park it in a garage
- CCTV system monitoring the garage and your walkways
- car alarm with 2 way
- notice on the garage door that the contents are on CCTV

I mean, the things above wont even necessarily stop anything from happening but it may help you nab the guy and be aware of when it did happen.

That's cheating Jay

Sorry to hear that happened. If it happened out in a public lot, probably not much you could have done other than maybe an alarm and/or park it out in the middle of nowhere. But, as we all know, even thats no guarantee.
