New Here

I have checked this site a couple of times and finnally logged in. I live in Kitchener and have a black 88 5.0L coupe that I bought new in march of
1988, it has 27000 original miles and the usual bolt-ons with a set of Weld Draglites. The car has been sitting in the garage for over two years now and I finnally got it all cleaned up so it will be out next summer for sure. So Hi all and hope to get out to some events next summer.

Welcome to a great site! Glad to hear it'll get driven this year, I get antsy over the winter months, I would never last even 1 year.

BAAD88 09-21-2006 08:05 PM

Thanks for the welcome.
I have been antsy for the last two years just that time is moving faster than I do.

Ponyryd 09-21-2006 08:16 PM

I would've bought another to drive in the meantime-I've done it before!

Welcome to the site. I find it easy not to drive mine. It will be 2 next spring and have 3300kms. I covered it for the year 2 weeks ago and who knows, next year I may not even take it out for the summer. :thumb1:

What is the point in owning the car?

BAAD88 09-21-2006 08:50 PM

They're nice to look after you lift the cover. There were two summers in a row that I didn't even use a full tank of gas up. Also the car is still in mint shape.

Your right it's mine (paid for) and I get more joy from cleaning and gawking than actually driving. I know that's strange but hey :thumb1:
