New to me 2001 GT Ragtop

Hello I am a newbie to the site and am trying to put a picture of my car onto my threads so here goes. PS the old girl has only got 55,000 km so I am happy for my find. Had a 1967 ragtop before

This is only a toy, previous owner would not drive in the rain, oil changed every 2000 km, has been put away for the winter. I am trying to post a picture but am not having much luck

To post a pic is not hard really.
At the bottom of the reply page, you will see
"manage attachments" click on it.
Then a box will pop up called "Manage Attachments",
click on "Browse..."
and go to your photo album, and click on the pic you desire, then click on "Upload", and let it do it's thing, and it should let you know once it's uploaded. :)

Very nice, and an excellent colour too. :D

She's a looker and this is how I treat my car, the only difference is I change the oil every 1000-1300 k's or once a year. For a pre-owned car I am digging the low k's

I've never even heard of opal frost

DublDee 10-19-2011 10:14 PM

As far as I know it was only used for a couple years, and my 95 was actually a GTS 5 speed, which I found out later, was pretty rare. But not worth anymore, just not a lot built with that combo, as far as GTS'

She's a beaute. I have one to. Mine is just about to be put away.. Welcome.

My last one was a GTS also but it was green. Kinda remind me of the fox lx coupe. I like the clean look without the rear wing.

DublDee 10-19-2011 10:35 PM

My Opal Frost had a wing, and it took me a year and half to find out that the wing was actually dealer installed when it was brand new, and that's after the original owner contacted me after seeing it on Kijiji. He wanted to buy it back, as he still had the original bill of sale, but unfortunately for him, I sold the car the night before. I really wished I hadn't cause i think it would have been cool for the original owner to have it.

Yeah no kidding. How many times over the years have we regretted selling something but being that close to buying it back but missing out would be a heartbreaker.

DublDee 10-19-2011 11:04 PM

I know I felt bad, but hey who woulda thunk?

SNAKEBITE 10-20-2011 05:21 PM

yeah to bad for the original owner, oh well
