I am the new owner of a 2003 Mustang convertible. My son bought this car new but with a growing family he needed something bigger. I am more than happy to take it off his hands :). It is a V6 auto that he ordered with the pony package (galloping horses delete) and has 201,000 km. Since he used it year round there are a couple of rust issues that need attention. The passenger side rear wheel well lip is badly rusted (all other wheel well openings are rust free). An odd place for rust is two places along the upper windshield frame (in the centre between the windshield and conv top). Otherwise this is a very nice car. There are a few other areas requiring attention such as detailing the engine compartment. I suspect that I will have many questions to post as I familiarize myself with this car.

Welcome Phil, don't be bashful about questions, we got lots of smart guys here, sorry to hear your son had to sell, but hey, you get a new Mustang AND grandkids. Good deal.

The grandkids are actually now 8 and 6. When they were small the forward facing car seats fit in the back seat. Now that they are bigger it is the leg room, hockey bags, luggage etc. that is the problem. Word has it that I need to keep the Mustang long enough to turn it back to my grandson when he is old enough to drive. That gives me 10 years of fun :).
