Shopping for a new to me classic mustang after being without for 10 years. I had a 72 coupe in high school in 1984, a 66 convertible in 95, and a 69 mach 1 clone from 2000-2005. I am trying to buy back the 1966 convertible that I won from Mustang Monthly magazine in 1995 but the guy I sold it to doesn't really want to sell it unless he gets way more than its worth. So the search is on!

Welcome, what brings you from Texas to CMOC? Got a little confused there, your profile has location as Houston, but greetings from BC threw me off, unless BC has a Houston too. Not a bad deal to win a car from a magazine, of course the guy wants big money for it, ever notice how guys will low ball you when you're selling, but as soon as they own it, the value of the item miraculously go up? Sorry, pet peeve of mine, welcome, enjoy, good luck with the search !! Are you looking for another '66 ?

Welcome to CMOC. AP when I looked his IP up, it came out as Vanderhoof BC and there is a Houston just north of there. All is good.

Well, wouldn't have been the first time I was wrong, man enough to admit it, too lazy to check the IP, so I just asked, thanks for checking AN, it was no big deal, just curiosity. So now I got to ask the question about what the odds are that a Canadian would win a car from a US magazine promo? Given the differences in population and number of entries, must be pretty slim odds, but only takes one entry I guess, got to be in it to win it.
