New to Mustangs
2 Attachment(s)
I first drove a Mustang (well, several) last summer as rentals out of Toronto airport - the National agency there had a fleet of 2011 5.0 Mustangs for their frequent renters. This summer I went to the Calabogie Motorsports Park west of Ottawa and drove their race-prepped Mustang on the track for a half day. What a blast! Highly recommend that you opt for the full day though.
Anyways, fast forward a couple months and I get a text from a friend that his friend has a Mustang for sale. I was mildly interested and then forgot about it. A couple weeks later I get some pictures and a text from the seller and at the price he wanted, I couldn't say no. It's a 1998 GT with a Saleen body kit, DECH wing and springs, Tokico shocks, Vortech supercharger, Sean Hyland intercooler and lots of other goodies. It has been out at Steeda for lots of parts and dyno tuning as well. Previous owner says it put down 458 rwhp. I just had it appraised locally and got insurance coverage from Hagerty (via Zehr), and it's in the shop today (hopefully) passing the e-test.. Off to storage this week and then I can't wait til the spring. Nice to be here. Looks to be a lot of interesting people and useful information. https://www.cmoc.ca/attachment.php?a...ine=1320788447 |

Enjoy your stay! |
welcome aboard and you have a great Mustang for a first. It is kind of disappointing that it has to go into storage already but just think you have 5 months of anticipation ahead lol

Welcome to the site dude, sharp looking colour on that Saleen.

Beautiful ride! Welcome to the site.

Welcome to CMOC.ca. Awesome ride - would love to see some more pictures (especially of that DECH wing). There is not a lot of DECH material left in the market - it's definetly a keeper! :tup

Is it real secure???
|
The wing? Yes. 4 bolts through the deck lid.
|
That is definitely secure then
