Hey guys, I just picked up my first mustang today, bringing it home tomorrow. Its an 88 5.0l lx. Its got a 5 speed in it. Really didnt want to get an automatic. Its got an 85 front clip on it, with a cowl induction hood, because the previous hood got destroyed and his brother gave him the 85 stuff..so it looks like an 85 and an 88..hence the name mutant... Im not big on the 85 front end and will put the 88 bumper, and buy a hood as soon as i can get the money. It needs a bit of body work, but a really good running 5.0l 5 speed thats pretty much unmolested for 2 grand... im not complaining :biggrin: Gonna be one hell of a daily driver i tell ya.
My stepdad has been into mustangs for a while, and hasnt owned a 5.0l for i think... three years.. ish. As far as other stuff i do.. ive got an 83 chevy that i wheel :
Annndddd an old race quad, its a zuki lt250...2 stroke powa :biggrin: :
And for the record... my names josh..17 year old kid..just sayin hi from bc... and lets hope gas prices dont kill me :laughhard Lookin forward to meetin some of ya guys..I'll try and get pics of the rustang tomorrow.

I had nearly the same truck and about the same high maybe a little high hard to tell from pics....mine was a 81 Chev Step side it was a beast!!! LOL
Welcome to CMOC.ca and congrats on the new stang, I also hate the early 80's front end. I'm sure you'll find the clip on here you want.

Josh, welcome to CMOC! Congratulations on the new purchase, the current toys look like they keep you dirty and pumped, hopefully the mustang will be clean and give you a rush(if not now, after the modifications)!
