Hi All - I was referred here by a friend of mine that posts (meister@steeda.ca) so I thought I'd introduce myself. I've always been a big mustang fan (I'm still an active member in my local Audi community though I just sold the A4) and used to be a bit more active in the Toronto area mustang community back when my best friend had his '99 GT...we went down to two if the Modular Mustang Shootouts back in the day as well...

Anyways, I have a 2005 GT Coupe 5 speed on order:

Active antitheft

I'm praying everyday for word on my build date soon but I'm not going to hold my breath. The dealer has been fantastic and there aren't any allocation or priority number issues as is happening with some of the folks in the US.

What dealer did you purchase your 05 at?

We are also awaiting our Sonic Blue(W/ white stripe) 05 to come in as well

I purchased mine from Macnab Auto Sales (Ford Dealer) in Ingersoll, Ontario (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this because of sponsorships so admins feel free to edit) - I have ties to the dealership so it only made sense.

I havne't been 'told' anything officialy by the dealership...some people think 5 weeks but the guys online at corral and stangnet etc have been waiting an average of 11 weeks or so from order to delivery.

I'll just have to be patient until I get my build date...I'll post it up when I do get that info.

PS - sounds like we're going to have opposite colour schemes from each other :biggrin:

Since I just bought a stang (not 05 :cry2: ) i was talking to the rep and he said Ford is having trouble forfilling the high demand for the 2005 model. I can see why. The cars mint, I got to sit in one while waiting for the final papers for mine. PLEASE post pics of your once they do arrive.

I was just going to post in your forum for a photoshop request for you but the source files of the hood i want were on stangnet and the forum CRASHED! BOOOO!

Yeah Id think so too but at every dealership in the GTA I see at least 5 of them lined up in the parking lot for sale.

Ya that sucks. It sad for me cause I must of done 30 plus mods for people on Stangnet and it was all lost from the crash .. Likey I saved all of them but I have no idea for who. So I used them here as examples as I can't tell people to check out my work at Stangnet. Oh well. I'm here now as a mod so just make the request to me here and I will fix ya up.
