Performance Parts 2010 GT

This is my first forum, so not sure how it works. I have 2010 Mustang GT, I would like to locate performance parts / chips etc. to upgrade performance, I heard Ford sells performance parts which won't affect warranty.

Can I be enlightened on what would give me the best bang for my buck through Ford Canada ?

Thanks

Doug

Welcome to the forums!
I also have a 2010 gt, mines red candy, whats yours? I cant afford mods at the time, but if I could I would. American muscle has tons of power mods but it depends on what you're looking for.
Minor bolt ons like underdrive pully's, clutch motion delete plates, etc, or go big with a super charger?
As far as keeping the warrenty, Ford has a whipple supercharger, that keeps some of the warrenty, also they have a power pack that includes a handheld tuner, different air filter etc.. for ALOT cheaper than the supercharger. Or a Top End pack that gives more power as well.
The ford tune isnt going to be as good as you could get from American muscle or Brenspeed or others, but some deelers may not cover your warrenty for that and others will, as far as I know, it really depends on how much you want and where you go for any warrenty work.
Enjoy the new stang, and hopefully others can add, edit what I've told you thus far, I'm a newb as well!

Welcome aboard!!The above is good!:tup
I would also check to see if they would still allow warranty if you swapped your rear gears to something like 4.10's.Bang for the buck right there. Some dealers are okay with rear gears swaps.

Touchy thing changing out parts under warranty, heard plenty of debate on whether or not it voids your factory warranty. I'd be comfortable with it before doing anything, but seems like the reasonable thing to do would be to stick with the Ford stuff. No experience myself, but seen plenty of guys running it.

Welcome to our great little site and enjoy your new Pony. Ford Racing has a catalog full of go fast goodies which if installed at your local dealer should not affect your warranty (I believe) For big bang power without pulling the motor you can go with a s/c or turbo (x2), gears are a great way to go ( happy medium ) I would suggest 3:73's or for a bigger bang as 1low suggested 4:10's/4:30's etc. If you are looking for mild power upgrades try out a tune/chip cai/cold air intake nitrous etc and for handling you could go with springs/shocks/struts subframe connectors lca's and lastly a nice rumbly exhaust system. It can become a very expensive hobby to say the least so pick and choose wisely. Again welcome and enjoy. Cheers Paul!

Aftermarket Power

Thanks for the reply, this is my sixth Mustang, only Ford I have ever owned, usually a GM man, compared the Camaro and Challenger and Mustang was no brainer. Mine is black on black, nice window tint, plain jane but still gets lots of respect and attention, especially from the older lads who understand the history of the Mustang.

Enjoy

Think I got it - sixth vehicle, first Mustang, first Ford. It just read a little weird the first time through, that's all. Thanks for clearing that up!!!

If you are going to do gears I would sugest 3:73's if you are standard and 4:10 if you are automatic. Most have already stated the obvious power mods....
