For 20K Canadian, you should consider an 03 Cobra. You may be into the Cobra for a few grand more, but it is a substantial upgrade over the GT in my oppinion. eBay Cobra here
A fox (foxbody) is a Ford mustang built between 1979-1993. I own a fox and really enjoy the car (when it starts). I would love an 03 Cobra though, don't get me wrong. 85GT on here has an 03 Cobra heavily modded for sale here, cheap. Just check with your insurance company.
