I just found a Royal Purple retailer here in Winnipeg..so that's what I use in the Mustang...not sure yet what I'll use in the DC-3....(That would be the Dakota for all you non-airplane guys..)

well i aint trying to make a buck off this stuff...the only reason i registered with them was to get a better deal on oil.I used to use royal purple but then i found a few pages on a few different sites about chemical breakdown before 5000 k ...horror stories to be honest...i ...and for you guys with cai or ram air amsoil has a sock to go over the top of your filter which is water repellent...they also make a coa...i am gonna try some of this stuff out i think....these guys even have their hands in vitamins and supplements...helps your reaction times..hehehe....i am thinking about a 45 gallon drum...set up for life..

I have used Amsoil RP Mobil 1. As far as RP or any oil I do not worry about breakdown as I have never gone more than 1300 k without an oil change (toy only). On the dd I will go 4000-5005 but hell it's a dd and we keep them no more than 2 1/2 years.

the dominator 5w20 racing oil is 952.80....yup...oil for life...and edge cars due to their tight tolerances absolutely need at the thickest 5w20....from what i have been reading 0w20 is our best bet for extended drain intervals...now that i am getting this stuff wholesale i am going to be pretty religious about oil changes....5000k max....just regular synthetic 5w20 wholesale is 6 bucks a pint ....thats just a little more than quality conventional oil retail

Thats actually not that bad, as I've been paying $8.00 a qt for Royal Purple and the Cobra needs 6.5 qts for an oil change.
