You NEED to run slicks on that thing man LOL. My junk worked ok, best pass of the night was an 11.43, still alittle off its best pass but oh well. Had a little detonation on the last pass and ate up #1 plug, but I stuck a new plug in and it lives to race again LOL.

It spent the night at Leons eh? LOL
I was hoping it didn't blow up!
Were you running more timing or what? How much base timing were you running?

QWKRN-U 07-08-2008 07:43 AM

Nope drove it home, had it fixed and was at Leons buying some sweet ass leather furniture on Sunday LOL. Base Timming is at 14*. I think it needs a bit more fuel, I havnt spent much time tunning it since I swaped crank pullies last year.

I thought it was your car, I work just down that road.
WTF 14* while boosted....Don't hear of that to much. I was thinking it was fuel I thought about it more today how old are your injectors? Hopefully #1 isn't starting to break down on you.
You gonna do some small adjustments for the next track day?

Heh, 95SRT is running 30 degrees total at 20+ psi on 94 octane :). Soo much power from more timing on a boosted car... (until you go too far that is...)

I mean on a 302 Stock block my base timing is still at 10 but my tune is a little different story ;)

I have a BTM that pulls timing under boost. Im gonna add a bit of fuel by bumping the fuel pressure a tad. I wont be at the August 16th race, its the night of my Jack & Jill, might race at the September ones but I dont want to break it before the wedding in October, so I might not. The last race in October I will still be on my honeymoon... so my racing for the season maybe over.

congrats on the wedding man.......pm me the details on the J & J........:tup
