More on the S10

It has a ford 8.8 in the rear, 3.73, rear disc brakes, lowered 3 inches.

The motor: 1989 block, bored .020 over, scat 6" rods with through bolts, scat forged crank, JE custom forged pistons (10.5:1) clevite bearings, crower roller cam, world sportsman heads, ported, upgraded valves (2.02, 1.60) 2.5 inch exhaust, edelbrock airgap intake, holley 670 vaccum secondary, electric water pump, manual steering, 1.6 roller rockers, electric fan, 3 inch cowl hood. MSD ignition, MSD nitrous window switch.

Motor is fully balanced to "0" not 1 or 2 grams, everything is perfect!

currently has a th350, but there is a race prepped 700r4 in the works.

also It went 11.8 @ 123 on a 125 shot, on the old motor, the new motor was built and clearanced to take a 300 shot. and is expected to make 430 n/a net

The truck is street driven, everyday in the summer, In fact it gets driven to the track and back, which is a 150km round trip. We've only broke it twice, but it is built with ford parts.

Sounds sooo sweet, I may just watch that one though. I think my eyes are bigger than my stomach this year.

Is this why it broke? because it was built with ford parts?
If I were a S10 I would break aswell........putting ford stuff in a GM what a shame!
