3:73 Gear install cost

Hi gang

I was wondering if anyone could give me an approx cost to get the gear upgrade done. Install cost only as I would have the gears already. Also any recommendations as to where to get a good deal and quality job done

Sometimes "good deal" and "quality job" don't always go together. Honestly dude, when it comes to something like rear end gears, it's not the place to be cutting corners to save a couple of bucks, you want it done right the first time. I've heard of guys spending $1000 or so to have a set of gears installed, but that's including the gears, so I'll ballpark around $500 to $600 at the least. What about the place you bought it? Eastgate Ford according to your sig. Get Ford to install them, and then you might avoid any warranty issues by having Ford install them, assuming you got Ford gears to put in?

What gears did yours come with, 3.55's? I would have thought most of CS's would have come with the 3.73's. Anyway, nice upgrade for sure.

Yeah that makes sense. I figured this would be the place to check as many here know of reputable place to get work done. Yes they would be Ford Racing gears I I really just want to know what to expect when and if the time comes.

You will not see much if any difference going from 355 to 373. Those cars love the 410's for sure and 500-750 for a proper job

I'm guessing flat rate would be 5-6 hours and I would highly recommend getting the dealer to do it. Personally I wouldn't bother though as 3.55-3.73 won't make that much of a difference.
