Aluminum Driveshaft for Automatic?

Hey guys so I have a brand new 8.8" 31 spline rear end with forged mosers, and new Track lok with 4.10 gears. Next Im going to get this:

Ford Racing 96-04 GT, 96-98 Cobra, and 03-04 Mach1 Aluminum Mustang Driveshaft M-4602-J - Free Shipping!

I know with the automatic I have to take out my stock yokes and place them in this driveshaft? Is it worth replacing the yokes for the new DS, and is this all I need to do? Thanks.

If the yokes are in good shape I wouldn't bother replacing them

Thanks chad, so it would be a relatively easy swap if the stock yokes were not beat up?

As easy as changing u joints I guess

Yes, all you need to do is transfer your yoke onto the new shaft, and u joint. Done. :tup
Easy, easy job, if you were closer i would give you a hand.

Darn! That would be awesome! Okay sounds pretty easy, the new shafts don't come with new u joints?

It will come with u-joints but the joints are pressed into the yoke.

So I would have to use the old u-joints if I was using the old yokes? The only way around that would be to get entirely new yokes I guess?

As far as I know the u joints should be the same size so I think you should be able to use the new ones.
