Gear questions???
I have recently swapped out my stock trans for the Viper t56 6 speed from D&D performance. the question i have is has anyone done this??? if so what rear gears are you using? Any suggestions?????

2.66,1.78,1.30,1.00,.80,.62 are the ratio's the stock 5 speed was 3.37,1.99,1.33,1.00,.67

ended up getting some 4.10 my buddy traded my beat up old trans for them

How is it with the 4:10s.

Thats a steep gear. The last fox coupe I owned had those gears in it, I hated it. LOL 1st gear was a waste!

I'm guessing you're running an 8.8 rear end.. there are some companies that make gears in between the 3.73 and 4.10

americanmuscle.com sells them

really?? i love the 4:10's feels like a totally new car with you got power on all gears except its brutal on the highway...


But i think it was a good choice choosing the 4:10's hope your gonna like them

I think the 2.66 1st gear makes the 4.10s a pretty good choice. Personally, I'd have a hard time deciding between 3.73 or 4.10, so I would likely end up with a set of 3.90s.

forced induction cars like the 3:73s but i have heard of guys running 4:10s.
