Liquid filled Guages Question
My car has been in storage for a while and i installed a liquid filled fuel pressure guage under the hood. I have heard from some people its not good to let them freeze. can cause probems or discolorization. Has anyone had this problem or ever hear of it. Thanks

Most gauges are filled with silicone oils or glycerin. For extreme temps, silicone filled is key. |
I was going to say ^^ most liquid filled gauges are filled with temp resistant oil....
that way they're not subject to temp changes from the engine... aside from the temp gauge... lol |
I googled that question. The above threads are right. Freezing shouldn't be a problem.

I had them in my old mustang,... it was stored for 2 winters in Sudbury,...... never had any issues.
