low brake pedal
 
Hey everyone,,anybody have a brake line pic or diag from the lines running off of the master ,to the porpotion valve then off to what wheels?
Ive got a weird low pedal,every thing is new,and there is no air in system,also the pedal is low ,doesent matter if car is running or not,now i install all new lines,,i meen all of them,because she was just a shell(no lines on it),so i think i got them wrong,any help would be great,thanks.it is an 89 coope,,was a 4 cyl.

could be your back breaks finish or need to be ajust or front braek finishcheck your pads break

If your rear brakes are not adjusted properly you will get a low pedal.

i had the same problem after i got my crossdrilles on.. try to bleed it from the master

Try tapping your calipers lightly with a piece of wood to make sure there is not some air trapped in them.

Usually though, back brake adjustment is the problem.

If, when you were bleeding the brakes you put your pedal to the floor you might have jammed the Proportioning valve. With someone pumping the brakes lightly, tap the valve lightly to see if it helps.
