once again wheel spacers
so as some of you may know i bought a 02 gt just over a month ago and have been doing research on some of the mods i would like to do to clean it up and make it my own. i was wondering what size spacer i would need to run to get my original bullits sitting flush but also without have to cut my original studs. having herd horror stories about them i was also wondering if i would be better off just buying new rims with a bigger offset

I think it depends on the spacer width. The 1 1/2" ones will not require any modifications to your lug nuts, but the 1" ones might be cutting it close.I think it will depend on the back of the rims mounting face. Some are solid flat while some rims are only solid flat at the lug mounting points, while hallow in between those points. My FR500's are like that, but if i remember correctly,my stock Bullitt wheels from Ford had a full solid mounting face.

I think 1" will clear stock rims. You can get away with thinner spacers with some aftermarket rims such as my and 1LOW03GT's FR500's as he was saying because of the lug spacing they have.

1Low would be the one to copy for sure
