Partially seized brake?

87 Mustang GT.

Started the car up today for the first time in a long time, moved it out of the garage, as it coasts at low speed the car keeps on "jamming/braking" went it hits a certain spot when the wheels turn, if im crawling along the car will actually come to a full stop. I have to give it gas to get it to move again, dont feel it when i'm actually driving the car but that ain't a good thing, so what are the changes that its something else than a bad spot on one of my drums? And if so what else? There is no audible sound when it happens so I dont think its something like the diff or a bearing. Let me know what you guys think.

I think you nailed it right on the head with it being a brake drum issue. Did you have your parking break engaged while it was in storage?

Maybe a rust issue re brakes of coarse

^^^^ yeah.....have u tried to go fast/brake hard and then repeat.....it could unjam the brake if its a litle rust..

I'll try that tonight and see howit goes, and yes idiot f-cken me had the hand brake on when it was stored..

^^^^ ahhh, thats what I thought. There's your problem. Pretty common among guys who have cars in storage with their hand brakes engaged. When I store mine I leave her in first gear (manual transmission) and place blocks behind the tires. Do that next year and you won't have a problem.
