seized tire
seized tire
i was putting on my snow tires and got to my rear passenger side tire and couldn't get it off seems like it was just stuck. tried hammering on it and still nothing. any suggestions so i don't have to take it to a shop?

um, i hope you arn't putting antiseize on the threads for the nuts... you will overtorque your rims, possibly wrecking them somewhat, especially if they are alloy rims and you have a very good chance of breaking the studs (trust me on this one)
good to hear you got it cleaned up....
I worked in a tire shop a few years ago... and I remember a few that we beat on the tires with sledge hammers....... they were completely seized...
just takes time and some muscles.
clean them up, give them a quick shot of paint if they're bare.... tremclad rust paint or similar.
