Shocks & Struts

Hey;

Car is bottoming out and hitting hard so I assume my shocks and struts are wornout or close o getting there

Any thoughts on what else the problem may be?

And any reccomendations on what type of shocks and struts to buy

I see Monroe are buy 1 get 1 half price but would they be any good for my 04 GT?

I have no idea

Over 100K on the car

Also some body roll is now occurring on hard corners

Thanks

I did the Tockico Illumina 5 way Adjustable shocks n struts on my 99 way back.

It came with a set of springs, bought it all on ebay..

something just like this :TOKICO ILLUMINA SHOCK SPRING KIT 99-04 FORD MUSTANG:eBay Motors (item 320415611253 end time Sep-22-09 16:57:00 PDT)

Came to around $700. Amazing ride performance. Uncomfortable as expected. Decent drop.

Only thing is i never used the adustible feature and from what i can tell, noone who really gets it ever does..

So if you go with Tockico, which i do recommend, go with the D-spec.

I replaced my rear shocks early with Monroe Cost me - like 40 bucks on sale for two... LOL - much better when the car is packed with my wife and her friend or 4 people. Mustangs ride better with just the driver anyways.

If ur going to change them why not go performance???? I hear the Tokico HP blues are decent and not that expensive!?!? or eibach, bilsten...etc....
