Torqing wheel nuts?

When torquing your wheel nuts, What are they supposed to be torqued at?
I thought it was 90 foot/pounds?

I've heard everything from 85-100....so IMO 90 ft/lbs would be fine...that's what I tq mine too

I go 95-100, but 90 is safe as well. If the wheels are new and alum. they must be re-torqued after 500-1000km.

Thanks guys.
The wheels are not new and yes they are Alum.

I agree Tim, I heard the same as well.

I tighten them to around 100 ft/lbs.

As long as they are nice and tight , just don't over do it.

There should be something in the manual that says how much to torque them to.
