you will find your answer here for sure! :)

Are you currently using the wiring harness and A9L computer out of the 93?
I will look to see if I can find any answers on the tranny!

The AOD (non-E) does not have an electronic shift solenoid. I have one in my Town Car. There are no real electronics on it other than the reverse switch. It uses a TV cable that connects at the throttle body to modulate pressure and determine shift points based on throttle position.

Are you sure you don't have an AODE?

rx7ray 04-16-2008 01:51 PM

i will have the the tranny that has electronics due to the fact that it does not shift into 3rd or 4th

Not having the TV cable hooked up will cause the same issue on an AOD. And will kill the transmission in short order.
