wet floor boards
 

Hey gang I'm getting water into the passenger front floor boards.I bought the car in July for my wife and I'm only driving it in the summer months but I've notice that when it was raining the floor would be all wet in front of the passenger seat.So my question is where do you think the water could be coming in?Cheers Mike

I think there is a thread on this issue,can't find it at the momment.It's an issue for the SN95/new edge stangs aswell.I believe there is a TSB to fix it.

Thanks for the heads up 1Low03gt.I'll have to go into Ford here in Nanaimo and see what they have to say. I noticed there is what looks like two drain holes where the wipers are so I was thinking that maybe one is pluged and that's why I'm getting water inside.But if there's a TSB I'll let them fix it.cheers

I know on the '94 to '04 years,water would some how get passed the window,and "A" pillar right near the passenger mirror when it would rain hard,or a long period of time,or if you were to pressure wash the stang,or even go threw a car wash for some.I can't remember if it is the same for the '05 plus.I know for sure i saw a thread on this.LOL!

Yep. The 05 - 06 S197 have this problem. Mine did!

Open your door and check the weather seal for the wiring harness that goes into the car from the door. I had the same problem there is a TSB on it that shows things to check. I checked that seal and sure enough it was not inserted completeley once I fixed it there was no more water.

thanks for the tip..I have same issue on '06

I never had the water issue as my 05gt never saw rain and was garaged but let the Ford boys fix it.
