i got a used 8.8 low mlg for like 550 cash pulled cover looks like new can wait to put 4.10 in it in the spring to help the v6 out. trying for 12s with a 4.0

12 psi from a vortech, headers duals. best so far is 13.16 1.815 60s at 104.61 mph this summer at grand bend 3800 clutch drop one MT drag rd. i meet so of the guys from here at a mustang show a few weeks ago they saw my car

SO you are running a 3.55 and going to a 4.10? You'll hit 12's I think. I have a 4.10 but with the procharger it would be to much which is why I am switching to a 3.73.

right now iv got 373 in the stock 7.5 and its not realy happy about the 207 hp over stock so i have a 8.8 to put in then ill put 4.10s in that in the spring. id like to put a 5.4 in my car at some point but we will see

Best I have done is 13.2 at 108 with a 1.99 60'. That's with 300whp. Hoping to break into 11's come spring with 460-500 whp.

on the dyno i made 333 hp and 343 tq to the wheels ,est fly wheel hp is 417 stock is 210 inside the motor is all stock.

if you think a 4.10 is too much then switching to a 3.73 isn't going to be that different imho and not worth the expense.if you are going to have 500rwhp then a 3.55 is probably what your after.did you say you have awhine in the rear end now?you will get a slight whine with any 410 is just the nature of gears.the faster you turn them the more whine you get.going to a 3.55 will be quieter than a 3.73 in most cases.also the weights on the rear end are there to attenuate noise vibrations. as is the stock driveshaft design.
