1999 SVT Cobra Ford Mustang 4.6L 4v Mod Motor Engine 99-01
 

The car was originally from california and has never been winter drivin. The motor was ran for only one summer with zero problems, before it was swapped. The reason for the swap was because my father found a great deal on a 04 supercharged engine. The engine has been sitting for about 2 years now in a barn and has 55,000 miles on it. Is it hard to swap this into an '02 GT? Also does anybody know if this would be a smart swap or not?

It's a pretty major swap to go 4v. A 2v 5.4 is a direct swap with a few intake and exhaust mods.

How much power does this motor make stock?

320 hp

So the same as my 3v, are the 4v's forged, I thought I heard they can handle lots of boost right out of the box?

03-04 were the "big power" motors
