Looks kinda scammy to me, from what I read on the mustangcanada thread, and no, you don't have to be a member to read it, came up just fine for me. No response from the seller to pointed questions kind of smells, but on the bright side, the CMOC price was $200 less than the mustangcanada price. lol I liked the line about sending the cash to his account in Nigeria.

 

Nice! wish I had disposable cash atm, would love to put one of these in my 72 datsun!

 

Back up for sale, buyer put down $1000 deposit but wasnt able to complete sale. If it helps buyers can pay using the security of Visa or Mastercard. Cheers

 

Can you clarify some of the info presented on the other forum? There seems to be some accusations of misrepresentation or a scam.

 

Well guys I traced the email that was sent to me today in regards to the motor
till being for sale from goodfella
and found another add with a phone number and a contact name of Lee
Called the number got some guy on the phone named Steve That Moved from Vancouver and now lives in Europe.

SO something is not right with this deal!!!!!!

I'm wondering why Goodfella has not either read this whole thread out, or if he did, why hasn't he commented one what is being said??

 

Yeah this guy logged on yesterday at 10:58 AM, which was after Chad replied asking for him to clarify a few things, so he obviously would have seen that and ignored it. Far too many unanswered questions on this one!

 

This all sounds just like a Roush 427R I looked in to a few years ago. Guy claimed to be a doctor that moved from Calgary to Florida and wouldn't give me his phone number. The address he gave me turned up as a vacant lot in some random town in Florida on google street view. Turned out he had stolen the VIN and used pictures off google to make the ad.
