FS: Snow Tires 2004

Hey Guys,

I have a set of Snow Tires that I used for about 2 years, they are in good shape, mounted on black steel rims. They have about 30k Kms on them, if you are interested, drop me a line... i will try to put pics up tomorrow when i clean up the garage. Looking for $500 but will take offers. I don't need them anymore as I have a company vehicle, brand new Seirra 4x4. Didn't use the tires last year as it was my first year with the truck... so they are taking up space in the garage... first come first serve.

I will get the name of them tomorrow... have a buddy that owns a tire place, get them from him.

Here are some pics I took of the tires today, there is lots of tread left.

Two of the pictures show the wear bar and how much tread is left, they are filled with Nitrogen, which explains the green valve stem caps. I am not desperate to sell the tires, if someone needs a set and is thinking of driving their car in the winter, let me know....

question

I have an 06 Mustang GT ... will these be ok to install? My car is not lowered.
Is it ok to run a 235-65-17? (my stocks are the 235-55-17)

thx for anyones input

Adam

No, you need at least 17" to clear the front brakes on the 05-up Mustang GT. Proper size is 235/55R17, same as stock, our you can get away with 225/55R17, or even 215/60R17. 235/65R17 will be much too tall (2" larger overall diameter), and likely rub on the fenders.

cheers

Thanks Ed,

I tried to say that but I wasn't 100%, but i knew they would not fit and I didn't want to stick him with something that wasn't going to work,

ok as i watch the snow outside, I assume someone needs a good deal on snow tires, if thats you and you have a mustang that will fit these tires, they are in my garage for your enjoyment. Just offer me a price and we will see if we can come to an understanding...
