FS- Spec Stage 3+ & Billet Aluminum Flyweel

Hey guys,

For sale I have an almost new Spec 3+ clutch and matching Spec Billet Aluminum flywheel for 2005-2009 Mustang GT. I purchased these new from American Muscle in January 09' for $794.98USD + exchange and taxes.

I only got to enjoy this clutch for a little over 400km's before the dealership made me an offer I couldn't refuse at which time I returned my 07' GT/CS back to stock. This clutch is barely half way through it's break-in period and was still being driven rather gently (on snow tires) when it was pulled. Street manners were great and it engaged and disengaged smoothly in traffic with a near stock pedal feel. The light flywheel made a great difference in how the engine rev'd and made a noticeable improvement over stock.

I can send detailed pics to anyone interested. Asking $800 obo, my loss is your gain on this awesome clutch & flywheel combo. Email me directly or shoot me a PM for more details RJMCom1@yahoo.ca

Thanks

Grassy, sorry for any confusion. I ended up trading my 07' GT/CS in for an 09' F150 Crew Cab 4x4 last month. I got pretty reasonable trade-in value + I got some deep discounts on the truck as well.
The reason it went back to the stock is the dealer was going to take $2k off the trade-in value for having been modified. There was nothing wrong with the stock clutch when it came out so it went back in pretty painlessly since I have access to my buddy’s home lift. I had originally planned to drop a Whipple HO kit on the GT/CS this spring but all my plans changed when I unexpectedly had to change jobs.

Changing jobs fast..I can relate to that. Thank you for the explaination..sorry to hear that you had to lose your 'stang :(

No problem. I was very sad to see it go as it was my first truly new vehical but I'm sure it won't be my last Mustang. The truck is nice too, just not nearly as fun or flashy.

This clutch will not last long! they are awesome I have the same one, best investment yet!

Good luck on your sale!

Thanks Stang Illusions:) It was definitely a huge improvement over the stock clutch for the short time I got to drive it. Very good manners too for a clutch of this capacity compared to others I've driven. Seat of the pants dyno says the light flywheel while it doesn't add any real horsepower it definitely allowed it rev into the butter zone above 3k much faster.

Price Drop. $750 OBO

Hey guy's not a single bite on this yet. If your interested let me know, it's just taking up space in the garage right now while someone could be out enjoying it at the drag strip this summer.

Thanks

Bump and a Price Drop. I need this gone soon $700 Cad + Shipping or local pickup. Could also meet anyone half way within reason.

Last Bump to the Top. Now asking $600 and I'm also including ARP hardware to go with it. There must be someone looking to save some money on a new clutch setup. I'm open to offers, it's just sitting on a shelf in my garage right now.

Thanks
