SCT Handheld Programmer

SCT Handheld Programmer

Selling my SCT Handheld Programmer that I purchased brand new for my 2009 4L Ranger. It can be used for any Ford product.

Model 3000, includes a usb cable.

Had it for 3 or 4 months, works great...I might be selling my truck.

I can (and will) if necessary flash my truck back to stock in front of the purchaser, therefore the Programmer will be sold unlocked.

You pick the tuner of your choice and download or custom tune the tunes you prefer.

Here is the exact model: http://www.sctflash.com/products.php?PID=1&VID=

***I live in Streetsville/ Mississauga

***The price is $300 firm

BTW, It can work with the new 5L Mustang.

A bit of friendly advice. From what I know of SCT products being that I have one the programmer is vehicle specific. In other words my programmer will not work on someone else's mustang, for this to happen the appropriate files have to be download from the an SCT site such as Brenspeed.

For instance when I ordered my SCT tuner from Brenspeed they required the computer code individual to my vehicle and also any add ons such as the CAI and Magnaflow exhaust setup. With this information Brenspeed then sets up the programmer for the vehicle specifications. Once the tuner has the individual Mustang engine computer code the programmer is vehicle specific unless you can get SCT to reset it.

Once the vehicle is flashed back to stock by the Programmer it becomes unlocked as verified by SCT. Then the Programmer can accept tunes from any SCT equipped Dealer/ Tuner.

It's a three year old classified, and the dude hasn't signed on in six months, I'm guessing it's long since sold, but maybe I'm just a pessimist. You should send him a PM and ask about it.
