Steeda Strut Tower Brace For 2011 GT with S/C
 

I have a new steeda strut tower brace brandon at Steeda told me it would fit with the factory hood and Roush S/C but he was wrong. Fits over the S/C but interfears with the factory hood. I don't want to buy a hood at the moment so my loss is your gain its brand new just got it today installed it did not work for me uninstalled it boxed it up

This is the part number 555-5726 whp - Steeda Billet Strut Tower Brace - Roush w/ Supercharger - 05-10 - $341.20

could you not return it on their dime?

No doubt on the return. They told you it would fit, it didn't, and if they won't take it back that's just poor customer service. No reason you should be stuck with it, unless it got damaged.

No they will take it back this is what Brandon at steeda told me "I apologize for any inconvenience, I was under the impression that you had a Roush vehicle and not a GT 5.0L. I see now in the private messages that you said you had a 2011 GT 5.0L.

In order to process a return, we will need to issue you an RA# and you will need to ship it back. Upon receiving, we will mail out a check to you with the amount that we received after the bank's wire transfer fee.

The total that you would be refunded would be $357.14"

no mention of them paying shipping and us as Canadians steeda.com will not take our cc or use PayPal so I had to wire them the money and now the want to issue a check and im sure my bank will put a hold on it until it clears since its an international check.Some of these online stores I feel they don't like to deal with Canadians so i figured i would just try and sell it here and save the hassle or keep it and maybe buy a new hood next year or so. I did want a STB !!!

Little bit of confusion there. Sounds like you ordered from Steeda in the US, I was thinking Steeda.ca in Milton. So they will take it back, but it sounds like a very painful process. I'm surprised they're not using Paypal or credit card payment at the very least. Did you mail them a money order to pay for it because if you paid on-line with a credit card, that's how they should process the return. All that other sh$t is just a smoke screen because they're too friggin' lazy to do their job. what a bunch of morons. Good luck with the sale, there's gotta be someone with a Roush looking to buy Steeda crap for their car.

I've been wondering why it wont clear your hood? Is your hood not stock?

Steeda.com and steeda.ca are two totally different companies not affiliated in anyway and steeda.com are the only company that had a STB that would clear the Whipple and Roush super charger. steeda.com will not accept Canadian Pay Pal or Canadian credit cards must do a wire transfer if you buy from them. But it dose seem like a pain in the a** to do a return :) . The way snail mail works I probably would not get my refund for two months.

There is not enough clearance between the Roush supercharger and the hood. They told me that would fit but no such luck.
