if the hood is of the same quality as their bumpers i would have to say no :(

@ thumper
Actually, Duraflex combine fiberglass, plastic and flex resins to make their parts more durable than regular fiberglass. That's why we do sell these hoods a lot and we mostly receive the positive feedback.

Did you have any bad experience with the bumpers?

i almost bought their gt500 front end conversions, but almost all the mustang message boards i asked on told me to avoid any and all their products. a local store i went to said they stopped carrying them because of the poor quality and complaints. finally, the reviews i googled online have all been negative...

here is a review of one of their hoods:

I believe in reviews, as I live in Canada, so shipping is more, returns are a major pain in the @ss and normally have to pay the shipping back also.
I like the look, but based on that feedback, would never buy one.
Price is one thing, but quality is always paramount when adding to my ride:tup

We work with this company for many years, and yes we as well as the Duraflex marketing team are aware of those issues. Few years ago they made a major revision of the material they fabricate body parts from and transportation method. They have replaced cracky fiberglas with more flexible duraflex which combines combines fiberglass, plastic and flex resins.

I am curious, I have looked at your site and considering a few things, so considering the thread, I wanted to know, your backing your supplier here, so if
someone were to purchase this hood, based on what you wrote above and were not happy with the product, because of poor quality, would you do a complete return, shipping and no restocking fee's?

Don't forget compensation for your time, customer should be reimbursed at least two hours at the current minimum wage for having to deal with returning the poor quality product.

The Lack of response from Carid, about says it all.
